News: Mistborn movie?

An interesting bit of news on Brandon Sanderson's blog regarding a deal over the film rights to make an adaptation of the three books that comprise the Mistborn trilogy. Christopher Geary sought approval from Sanderson in NY with a script treatment of the book's beginning and was given the go ahead. The company, Paloppa Pictures, is fairly new to the film making business with a few other projects in production around late 2010/early 2011. No details yet on when production is scheduled to begin on the Mistborn adaptation but I imagine those will become clear later in the year. As is the case with most tentative film options, anything can happen at this early stage but it's a decent start.
